Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is a Spirit Art session?
A Spirit Art session is a blend of intuitive artwork and spiritual connection, where Terésa creates a visual representation of one of your spirit guides or what is needed for your energy or Higher Self, while sharing messages or insights they receive during the process.
2. What kind of Guide will come through?
Spirit guides are non-physical beings who support and guide you throughout your life. They come in many forms, each with a unique purpose in your soul’s journey. Sometimes, what comes through is specific to your healing, and not a Guide at all.
Terésa has brought through -
animals, ancestors, teachers, protectors, beings from other realms, elements, healing energy, allies from the Nature realms, soul aspects & Higher Self energy, past lives, & loved ones in spirit.
3. What kind of art will I receive?
You’ll receive a portrait or symbolic A2 pastel artwork representing your guide(s) or what is needed for healing. This may include facial features, energy colours, or symbolic items they want you to see. Often, they will bring through elements that will assist your energy in that moment. The style may be realistic, abstract, or a mix - depending on how the guide presents.
4. Do I choose which guide is drawn?
No - the guide who most wishes to connect with you at the time of the session will usually step forward. It's often the one most relevant to your current path or personal growth.
5. How is the session conducted?
Sessions may be done in person, via Google Meet, or by commission/email, with the artwork and channeled messages sent afterward. During in person sessions, Terésa will describe the guide and share messages as they draw, and you take the artwork home with you.
6. How long does a session last?
In Person or Online sessions typically last 60 minutes. If the session is done by commission/email, you’ll receive your completed artwork and accompanying messages within an agreed timeframe.
7. What if I don’t “feel” connected to the guide?
Sometimes, your conscious mind may not recognise the guide immediately. Trust that the right energy has come through. Terésa asks your Higher Self & Guides for exactly what you need in that moment. Everything on the paper has meaning for you. Many clients report deepening recognition and connection after meditating with the image or sitting with the messages.
8. Will I receive a physical copy of the art?
Yes. For In Person sessions, you take your artwork home straight away. For Online or Commission sessions, Terésa will post your original artwork after the session.

1. What is a Mediumship Spirit Art session?
A Mediumship Spirit Art session combines mediumship and intuitive drawing, where Terésa connects with a spirit and creates a visual representation - often a portrait or symbolic artwork - of a loved one in spirit or ancestor. These sessions are booked under Spirit Art, but you can state your preference for a mediumship specific session.
2. What kind of art will I receive?
You may receive a spirit portrait, symbolic imagery, or a blend of both - depending on what the spirit wishes to communicate and how Terésa interprets the energy. The artwork is done in pastels on A2 or A3 paper.
3. Do I need to provide a photo of my loved one?
No photo is needed beforehand. The goal is for the spirit to come forward on their own, and for Terésa to draw them based on the energy and impressions received - not prior knowledge.
4. Will the portrait look exactly like the person in spirit?
Not always. The likeness may be subtle or symbolic rather than photographic. Some portraits strongly resemble the person in spirit, while others highlight features, personality, or soul essence.
5. Can you guarantee who will come through?
Spirit chooses who steps forward - it may be a family member, ancestor, or friend. While you may hope for someone specific, it’s best to remain open to whoever wishes to connect.
6. How long is a Mediumship Spirit Art session?
Sessions usually last 60 minutes, depending on how much comes through and the complexity of the drawing. In Person sessions offer a live drawing experience & the messages during the session; Online provide the art & messages remotely, with the artwork sent afterward. Commission is done without you present, messages are sent via email and artwork sent via post.
7. Is the artwork mine to keep?
Yes! The artwork is yours to keep. In Person sessions allow you to take them straight away. Online or Commission sessions are sent via post after the reading.
8. What if I don’t recognize the person drawn?
This happens sometimes. The spirit may be an ancestor or someone from earlier in your life. People often recognize the connection later through family members or unexpected memories.

1. What’s the difference between a psychic and a medium?
A psychic connects with YOUR energy, within & around, to provide insight into your past, present, or potential future.
A medium connects with the SPIRIT world, delivering messages from loved ones who have passed on.
Some readers (like many professionals) offer both.
2. What can I expect during a reading?
Every reading is unique. Terésa's readings are very healing, she connects in with what the energies within, and around you are doing & how they are affecting your progress. She offers guidance & clarity on moving forward, empowering you on your journey. You may also hear from loved ones in spirit. You may wish to bring in a photo or object belonging to a loved one in spirit for Terésa to read. You’ll be in a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
3. Do I need to bring anything or prepare?
Just come with an open mind and heart. You can bring specific questions or topics, but it's also okay to let the reading unfold naturally. If you are wanting mediumship to be a part of your reading, you can bring a photo of, or an object belonging to, a loved one in spirit.
4. Can you guarantee who will come through in a mediumship reading?
No medium can guarantee a specific spirit will come through. Spirit communication is like a conversation - it depends on who is ready and willing to connect. That said, most people do receive meaningful connections regardless. Sometimes it helps to ask your loved one to make an appearance. If a photo reading is done, it will connect with that person, however, they may bring others through with them.
5. How long is a reading?
Readings are offered in 30, 45 or 60 minute sessions, in-person, or online.
6. Is it okay to record the session or take notes?
Yes! You’re welcome to take notes or ask if you can record the session. It helps to reflect on the reading later.
7. Can psychic readings predict the future?
Psychic readings can offer insight into your current path and potential outcomes, but the future is not fixed -your choices matter. Readings are guidance, not guarantees. Terésa may offer future potentials.
8. Is this safe or scary? Will I hear something bad?
Readings are meant to be uplifting and empowering, not frightening. Ethical readers will never deliver "doom and gloom." Even difficult messages are delivered with compassion and care. Terésa offers practical, down-to-earth guidance with the intention to bring awareness and empower you on your journey.
9. How often should I get a reading?
This is a personal choice. Some people come once a year for clarity, others during major life transitions. It’s best to give space between readings to process and integrate the guidance.
10. Do you offer remote/virtual readings?
Yes! Readings can be done via Google Meet and are just as accurate and powerful as in-person sessions.

11. Can I request NOT to have loved ones come through?
Of course! If you are uncomfortable with the idea of connecting to those who have passed, you can request to not have mediumship as part of your reading. Also, if there is someone you do not want to connect with specifically, you can give Terésa that name so the boundaries can be set. Spirit is very aware & respectful of our triggers & wounds. You will only receive what you are ready for.
1. What is a mediumship photo reading?
A mediumship photo reading involves using a photograph of a deceased loved one to help the medium connect with their energy and receive messages or impressions from the spirit world.
2. What kind of photo should I provide?
A clear photo of the person who has passed is best. It can be recent or old, as long as their face is visible. Digital or scanned copies work fine. No need to provide any personal background - less is more for an authentic connection.
3. Does the person in the photo have to be deceased?
Yes. Mediumship focuses on connecting with the spirits of those who have passed on, not the living.
4. Do you need to hold the photo in person?
No - energy transcends time and space. A digital image sent via email or uploaded through a form works just as well.
5. What happens during the reading?
Once the connection is made, Terésa will write down messages, memories, personality traits, or emotional impressions from the spirit. She then transfers all the information to an email template before sending. These readings can offer comfort, closure, and healing.

6. How long is a photo reading session?
Sessions last 1 hour, including the reading & emailing.
7. Is it okay to ask questions before or after the reading?
Generally, Terésa prefers not to control the narrative of the reading and suggests allowing your loved one to bring through whatever they want to pass on. If you have questions regarding the reading or to clarify messages, that's ok. Asking questions of your loved one after the reading has been conducted, will not be answered as this requires further connection & another reading.
8. Will the messages be emotional or upsetting?
Spirit messages are usually loving, supportive, and healing. Some emotional content may come up, especially around unresolved grief, but messages are delivered with care and compassion.
9. Can I have multiple people in one photo?
It’s best to provide a single-person photo to avoid mixed energies. If you want to connect with more than one spirit, send individual photos as seperate bookings.
1. What is energy healing?

Terésa may use any of the following during a session - Sekhem healing, Chakra balancing, Crystals, Sound, Visualisation, Meditation journeys, Cord cutting, Past life healing, Candle rituals, & Messages from your Guides or loved ones.
You may have varying experiences during a session. You may feel warmth, tingling, emotional release, or deep relaxation. Terésa's sessions are not an opportunity to fall asleep and have someone 'fix' you! You will be working together to bring balance & to activate your own innate healing ability. Every session is unique.
3. How long is a session?
Sessions are offered in 1 or 2 hour sessions, including a short check-in before and after.
4. Do I need to prepare beforehand?
Just wear comfortable clothing and come with an open mind. Hydration before and after the session is helpful. Avoid alcohol, coffee or heavy meals right before.

Yes! Energy healing is non-invasive and gentle. It complements traditional medical treatments but is not a substitute for professional medical care.
6. How will I feel afterward?
Many people feel lighter, relaxed, or more emotionally balanced. Some may experience a temporary emotional release or detox as energy shifts. Be kind to yourself after the session. Healing is a time for nurturing yourself. A lot of Terésa's clients want to be out in nature after a session and will head to the beach nearby to reflect and ground.
7. How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your goals. Some people benefit from a single session, while others find regular sessions support ongoing healing and personal growth.
8. Can energy healing help with physical illness or pain?
Energy healing can support your body’s natural healing abilities and help manage stress, which may reduce symptoms. Terésa may bring awareness to the energy underlying these issues. However, it's not a cure or replacement for medical treatment.
9. Is this a religious or spiritual practice?
Energy healing is not tied to any specific religion. It can be a spiritual experience for some, but it’s rooted in universal life force energy and is open to all belief systems.
